Goan style Lobster Curry

Goan Style Lobster Curry Cooking Time: 30 Min
Serves: 4 Persons


Ingredients

  • Lobster 2 pound
  • Sliced coconut 100 grams
  • Garlic pods 5
  • Pieces of ginger 2
  • Pepper corns 20
  • Cloves 10
  • Kashmiri chillies 7
  • Cumin seeds or Jeera 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Water 1 cup
  • Small onion

Direction

  1. Fry the coconut till its light brown.
  2. In a blender, add the spices and coconut with little water to form a smooth paste.
  3. Clean the lobster and slice in center so flavor enters and stays.
  4. Boil the lobster for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add a little oil to a pan and fry the chopped onion till translucent.
  6. Then add the ground masala to the pan.
  7. Add the boiled lobster and stir in some salt to taste. Let it cook for appropriately 10 minutes.
